What Is Open Studios?

What Is Open Studios?

Open Studios is a special time of year where artists all over the city open up their doors and let you into their worlds. You get a very unique and personal view of the art work and can have some nice chit chat with artists and other art lovers alike.

photo-277 Is a special presentation by artists in Workspace ltd that is happening this SPRING Open Studios ONLY, you do not want to miss it. The artists at Workspace have been working very hard to create a community based experience in the HUGE gallery downstairs. A collection of artists in many mediums are displaying works in the gallery and will be present in the gallery during the event.

What is the twist?

In the hopes of building community (as well as taking advantage of the beautiful gallery downstairs) the artists will convene in the “art fair” like setting of the gallery instead of in their studios-
YOU dear art lover- simply make a request to visit the studio or studios that you like and you and the artist can go have your special private tour. THIS makes it so that if you like, you can ask questions about the work, see where it was made and bring a chocolate offering to the art universe… ok, just kidding about the chocolate…
